Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on performance with job satisfaction as an mediating variable. The sample in this study were civil servants at the Departement of Manpower and Transmigration, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique. This study uses primary data. Primary data were obtained based on distributing questionnaires directly using paper without using digital technology such as Google forms. The method used is the saturated sampling method. The number of respondents is 87 people. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 Program. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and insignificant effect on performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance and job satisfaction could mediate between variables. work motivation on performance variable.
