Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of leadership, innovation culture, and continuous improvement on business sustainability at Astra Motor Yogyakarta. The research is motivated by the increasing competition in the automotive industry, the growing demand for innovation, and the importance of continuous improvement in ensuring long-term business sustainability. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 129 employees of Astra Motor Yogyakarta at managerial and operational levels. The data were analyzed using a Generalized Linear Model (GLM). The results indicate that innovation culture and continuous improvement have a positive and significant effect on business sustainability. In contrast, leadership does not show a significant direct effect on business sustainability. These findings suggest that in organizations with highly structured work systems and standardized operating procedures, business sustainability is more strongly influenced by innovation culture and continuous improvement practices than by direct leadership effects. This study provides practical implications for companies to strengthen innovation culture and consistently implement continuous improvement as key drivers of business sustainability, while developing leadership that plays a supportive and adaptive role within an established organizational system.
