Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work family conflict on turnover intention which is moderated by internal core self-evaluation factors and external managerial support factors. The study was conducted on hotel employees in the Province of D.I. Yogyakarta. This research was conducted using the Non-Probability Sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The sample in this study is employees who work in hotels in the Province of D.I. Yogyakarta as many as 153 people. Data analysis was carried out using the t test method (partial test), simple linear regression, moderated regression analysis (MRA), and the coefficient of determination which was processed using the SPSS 25.0 software program for windows. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that work family conflict has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Core self-evaluation is not able to reduce the occurrence of turnover intention due to work family conflict in the context of the hospitality industry, and managerial support significantly moderates the positive effect of work family conflict on turnover intention.
