Abstract
The rapid retail business in Indonesia makes competition among retail tighter, promotional factors become one of the keys to continue to create and retain customers. Price discount and in-store display is one form of in-store promotion that is often used to stimulate consumers to impulse buying. This research aims to find out the influence of price discounts and in store displays on impulse buying customers mirota campus at Jl. Palagan Tentara Siswa, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. A sample of 100 customers are consumers of Mirota Kampus di Jl. Palagan Tentara Siswa, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta who have made purchases at Mirota Campus in the last 6 (six) months. Of the respondents, 84% were female, 95% were between the ages of 17-25, 81% were students, 44% had < Rp 500,000, and 90% were non-member customers. After instrument tests, basic assumption tests, and classical assumption tests, it is known that all known variables/question items can be used for research. Based on the results of multiple linear regression tests, t tests, and f tests found that price discount partially positive and significant effect on impulse buying, in store display partially positive and significant effect on impulse buying, then price discount and in store display simultaneously positive and significant effect on impulse buying. impulse buying.
