Abstract
This study aims to find out the effect of training on performance mediated by motivation in the group of UMKM batik in Cepu city. This study used a survey system by disseminating questionnaires to predetermined respondents. The sample of this study is all members of the group of UMKM batik in the city of Cepu which amounts to 54 people. The variables used are as many as 3 variables consisting of training, performance and motivation. The research data was analyzed with path analysis with the help of SPSS Version 22. The results showed that: (1) Training has a positive and significant effect on performance, (2) Training has a positive and significant effect on motivation, (3) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance, (4) Motivation mediates and it’s significant to the relationship between training and performance.
