Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of job insecurity on turnover intention, the effect of job insecurity on organizational commitment, the effect of organizational commitment on turnover intention, and the effect of job insecurity on turnover intention mediated by organizational commitment. The samples in this research were employees of CV Magicskin Yogyakarta, totaling 85 people. The data collection method used a questionnaire that was distributed directly to company employees with a saturation sampling technique. The analysis technique used in this study include validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, hesteroscedasticity test, simple regression test, path analysis, and coefficient of determination test. Data analysis was carried out using IBM SPSS statistics version 25. The results of this study indicate that the job insecurity variable has no effect on turnover intention, job insecurity has a significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has no effect on turnover intention, and organizational commitment cannot mediate the relationship between job insecurity and turnover intention.
