Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, and firm size on the capital structure. The sample of this study amounted to 13 manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector which were determined by the purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial statements of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector for the period 2016-2020. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the E-Views 12.0 program. The results of this study indicate that profitability has an insignificant positive effect on capital structure, liquidity does not have a significant negative effect on capital structure, and firm size has no significant positive effect on capital structure.
