Abstract

Human resources are valuable assets for driving company performance. Therefore, various efforts have been made by the company to achieve quality HR performance. Based on these arguments, this study examines 3 (three) variables that are believed to have a positive influence on employee performance. This research examines the effect of compensation, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance. The research approach is quantitative. Sampling uses probability sampling technique. A total of 62 Indonesian Export Education and Training Center employees participated as respondents. The results showed that compensation had a significant effect on employee performance. Unexpectedly, work discipline has negative significant effect on employee performance and there is no effect between work environment and employee performance. In order to improve employee performance, this study provides recommendations for practitioners to improve compensation for employees.
