Abstract
This study entitled the influence of career development, compensation, and transformational leadership on the retention of contract employees at PT Bummy Harapan Umat Yogyakarta aims to analyze the influence of career development, compensation, and transformational leadership on employee retention variables. This type of research is a quantitative research with primary data sources. Sampling in this study used the NonProbability Sampling model, with the Quota Sampling technique. The sample used was an employee of PT Bummy Harapan Umat who was placed at the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarya and data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 92 respondents in January 2023. The tests used in this study were validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests , heteroscedasticity test, t test, goodness of fit test, coefficient of determination, and multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing in this study uses the SPSS Software program. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be seen that career development variables have no effect on employee retention variables, compensation variables have a positive effect on employee retention variables, and transformational leadership variables have a positive effect on employee retention variables.
