Abstract
Companies engaged in services, services of the highest quality and quality of services provided are the top priority of PT Kereta Api Indonesia, thus urging employees to always work as much, as possible to provide good public transportation services according to consumer desires. Therefore, human resources are a major factor in the success of predetermined organizational goals. This research is related to how the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior with organizational commitment as an intervening variable in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operation Region VI Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior, to know the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, to know the effect of organizational citizenship behavior on organizational commitment, to know directly or indirectly job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior with organizational commitment. Respondents in this study were 50 employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operation Region VI Yogyakarta. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. The analysis technique used in this research is validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, simple regression test, determination coefficient test and path analysis. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 16.0. The results of this study indicate that the variable job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the organizational citizenship behavior variable, xii the job satisfaction variable has a positive but insignificant effect on the organizational commitment variable, the organizational commitment variable has a positive but not significant effect on the organizational citizenship behavior variable, and the organizational commitment variable does not. can mediate the relationship between the variable job satisfaction on the variable organizational citizenship behavior.
