Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), and Company Size (Size) on the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of State-Owned Banks Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 Period. This study is a quantitative study using secondary data obtained from the publication of the annual financial statements of state-owned banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The total population in this study were 4 companies with a sample of 4 companies, the sampling method was purposive sampling. The data analysis in this study used the selection of model estimates, the basic assumption test for normality, the classical assumption test, and the hypothesis test with the Eviews 9.0 application. The results showed that Return On Assets (ROA) had a positive and significant effect on the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Meanwhile, Return on Equity (ROE) has a positive and significant effect on the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Company Size (size) has a negative and significant effect on the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR).
